Rihanna is a Bajan R&B singer with some influence of Pop, Reggae and Dance musical genres. Originating from the Caribbean, she rocked the musical world with her debut album Music of the Sun released in August, 2005. Rihanna's single Pon de Replay hit the top charts in US and UK as well as in the other countries.

Her second single If it's Lovin' That You Want was less successful but still reached the world's top charts. This Rihanna's album received Platinum certifications in several countries and Gold in the US.

2006 was again very successful to Rihanna. In April her second album was released. A Girl Like Me was a success. Her singles SOS and Unfaithful hit the top charts again.

Besides her amazing musical performance, Rihanna made her acting debut in Cameo role in Bring It On: All or Nothing on August 8, 2006. She also appeared in an episode of American soap opera All My Children and drama Las Vegas
